Strategic Plan
WHAT IS THE PLAN?
The 3 year Strategic Plan is a list of initiatives and targets that the club aim to achieve year by year that will help grow the club. It provides the club a direction and a clear indicator of how well the club is doing year on year.
We endeavour to make the club unique and attractive to prospective players and parents, while also retaining our current membership.
The plan started in 2015 and will be reviewed at the end of every rugby season to see what we have succeeded in that year and adjusted to add any new aims and objectives for the following season.
The Strategic plan can be requested by members of the Club.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Woy Woy Rugby Club mission is to build a family orientated club, which promotes the sport of rugby. To provide a fun, sociable and sporting atmosphere for all Club members. To foster friendship and lifelong bonds as well as protecting both the traditions and the future of the club.
VISION
Our vision is to provide the best possible rugby instruction and to give each player the opportunity to reach their potential. We strive to ensure that each player will be able to have fun, make new friends, experience the unique culture of rugby, and learn about participating positively in a team sport.

GOALS
- Our Club provides an opportunity for all players to develop their rugby skills, social skills, build confidence and develop a respect for others.
- Continue to build an inclusive rugby club that sponsors all levels of play.
- Encourage the development of a rugby family ethos, providing the warmest welcome to new players and providing mentoring support for all.
- Highly value volunteerism, fostering positive growth of the game and providing support of every club member both on and off the field.
- Dedicate ourselves to the creation of a professional rugby organisation with the highest quality coaching staff, and passionate and engaged members who will support its growth.
- Develop championship rugby teams that have a solid club identity and access for our players to ARU Rugby’s Developmental Pathway.
- Play as One Club, while fostering teamwork and a unique culture among all teams.
